One of the most repeated words from scripture regarding short verse’s comes to us from John 3,16 as well as the verse stating, Jesus wept. Much is made of these verse’s over the understanding that although short these verse’s are so deep and all so meaningful. As we journey through the inspired words of God a greater conclusion appears. As mankind makes its mind up about whom to serve we know the outcome. Those doing the will of God will be with him and Christ for eternity. Those who oppose God will die and no longer exist. This is all due through the great power of an all mighty God whose power we can not imagine.
At the point of this thought an understanding comes to mind. The power of God regarding those deeper meanings in those so few words. When God stated he was Alfa and Omega the beginning and the end, looking at the very first words of our bible as those within we can see this conclusion of what Alfa and Omega represent. They represent pure power.
When God first created all things he had a purpose. We know there is a certain harmony God wants from us regarding our life among all other things. There was a time when everything was going great. A time when we were pleasing to God. In that time we knew one thing for certain. Before I tell you what that was. I want to say it will also be the only thing we know after our judgement and new life with our heavenly father begins again. How God’s words hold such powerful meanings in all scripture is evident. So what will we know, we’ll know this.
1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Have you ever stop to consider the following about Christ, that after his being baptized the manner in which the Devil approached our Lord and King. There is still some questioning for some as to if the Devil is here now on earth or if he will be sent down in the near future. I personally feel that if Satan was among us we would surely know it. Having greater power than the Devil it may be that Christ has placed Satan in holding for now. Let’s review the encounter.
SATAN USES SCRIPTURE
MARK 1, 9And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. 10And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: 11And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
MARK 1, 11And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 12And immediately the spirit driveth him into the wilderness.13And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.
FQ. The manner in which Satan tempted Christ included deception. In asking and offering things to Christ, the Devil tries to turn Christ against our heavenly father. Look at how Christ responded to Satan. That Christ knows how to respond to Satan’s deceiving ways.
MATTHEW 4,
1Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
3And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
11Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
FQ. Were these the words which now hold Satan from being physically on the earth. 10Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. In one verse it states, Get thee behind me. This would suggest that the power of the Lord is first and greater than that of Satan.
Many today are certain that we are in the time of the fifth trump. That we are awaiting the appearance of the Devil. It is at the sounding of the trumps and woes to the worlds at the end of this age that we read of the Devil’s attempt to deceive everyone.
Very interesting topic, appreciate it for putting up.
